Sheldon Stier, is the founder of Hatch. A veteran of the investment industry with over 20 years experience having co-founded both a regional mutual fund company and a portfolio management firm specializing in discretionary portfolio management for established investors. Through his career, Sheldon has worked with financial advisers, investment firms, insurance companies, hedge funds, commodity traders and investors throughout Western Canada and is considered a pioneer in the exempt market industry.

Sheldon's understanding of the exempt securities market and regulatory environment provides a foundation for the firms focus on alternative investments.
