Exempt Securities Marketplace

The exempt market is where you can buy exempt market securities - securities sold without a prospectus.

Investments such as securities are usually sold with a prospectus, but there are exceptions to this rule, known as prospectus exemptions. When an issuer sells securities under a prospectus exemption, the sale is called an exempt distribution. Securities sold without a prospectus are called exempt market securities and they are said to be sold on the exempt market.
